Craig Terrill

Craig Terrill graduated from Purdue Univeristy with a degree in journalistic communication in 2003. That spring, he chose to put his journalistic aspirations on hold and entered the NFL draft. Craig will soon begin his sixth year as an NFL player with the Seattle Seahawks. Along the way he has also developed his passion for music. He and his band have performed locally and he has also played on stage with Garth Brooks and played with The Herding Cats at the House of Blues in both Chicago and Orlando. He and his wife, Rachel, wrote a song dedicated to Gloria Strauss that is on his first released CD, called CT.

Craig believes that being blessed is a calling to bless others. In college, he was involved with a reading program called Gentle Giants. Since then, he has helped raise money for Gilda's Club Seattle, Childhaven, Garth Brooks' Teammates for Kids, Circle of Friends, and the Grant Wistrom Foundation.

Rachel Terrill

As the wife of an NFL player, Rachel has been blessed with many opportunities to get involved with charitable organizations and foundations. But several years ago, when she and her husband volunteered to bring a handful of pediatric cancer patients on a winter ski trip with an organization called Circle of Friends, her life was forever changed. Gloria Strauss was one of those children on that trip who showed her that she was not just "a cancer patient" -- she was a sassy young girl who we would later watch transform the lives of thousands of people with her life and her legacy of turning the attention and spreading love from herself and onto others who were suffering. She feels blessed to now be on the board of directors for Gloria's Angels, a foundation that has used Gloria's impact to activate others to live Gloria's legacy of helping those who are most in need.

Rachel is the co-founder of a group called Funky Young Women that brings together NFL wives and teenagers who have cancer to help the girls forget about their illnesses and celebrate themselves as funky young women. She has also been involved with the Grant Wistrom Foundation, Garth Brooks' Teammates for Kids, has procured auction items for Childhaven and Gilda's Club. Rachel is scheduled to earn her PhD in interpersonal communication from the University of South Florida in 2010. Her work specializes in interpersonal relationships, religion, and identity formation. She also has an MA degree in Interpersonal Communication and Reflexivity from the University of South Florida and a BA in communication from Purdue University.
